Hackmatack has open positions on our volunteer board of directors
Board terms are two years, with the ability to re-offer. Hackmatack board members must reside in the Atlantic Provinces.
How We Work
We’re a working board that meets on weekdays several times a year: September, December, March, and June plus additional meetings if needed. We’re efficient and energetic; our work style is collaborative.
We want our board to reflect our mission to enable all children to see themselves in the books they read.
We’re particularly interested in people who self-identify as Indigenous, Black, persons of the global majority, racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+, newcomers to Canada and/or persons with disabilities.
